A video showing a woman applying fake freckles to her face is going massively viral.

Donielle Campopiano shared a video of herself applying fake freckles to her face on Instagram. The video then found itself to Facebook where it has racked up over 18 million views.

In the video, Campopiano applies a strip to her nose and pats it down. When she removes it, she’s got a little brown dots on her face that are *supposed* to resemble freckles… but really don’t.

Hun, that’s not what freckles look like.

The product Campopiano uses is called Faux Freckles, a product created by a Los Angeles-based couple named Brittany and Sergio.

Brittany came up with the idea for the company after she visited a beautician and got her to draw freckles on her face using an eyebrow pencil, a method that had a few drawbacks.

As we approached Sprinkles, we were in a full blown discussion about why anyone would risk having a brow pencil dotted on their face all day without smudging and how we can “fix this problem.” 2 cupcakes, a domain name and a brainstorm sesh later, Faux Freckles was born.
